James Watt/SML Scholarships 2014-17 at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh

COSTThe Department of Languages and Intercultural Studies at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, is now offering up to five James Watt/SML Scholarships to start in the academic year 2014-15. The term of the Scholarships is three years.

Applications are welcome from suitably qualified candidates to develop projects relevant to the department's research programme and its research centres ( http://irc.hw.ac.uk/research/phd.html and http://www.ctiss.hw.ac.uk/research/post-grad.html )

Applications relating to New Speakers in a Multilingual Europe are particularly welcome.

Successful candidates will be expected to make a contribution to activities in the Department in return for a fee-waiver, a maintenance allowance of £13,726 per annum and a research support allowance of £2,250 over the registered period of study.
